New Restaurants Near Ashley Park and Bullsboro Drive in Newnan

Ashley Park looks almost the same as it did a year ago. It has the same buildings, the same parking lots and the same walk from Georgian Cinemas to Taco Mama. The tenant list is where things have changed. Since spring, nearly every new business announced for the center has been placed into a space another tenant left or onto one of the center's parking areas. The same thing is happening up and down Bullsboro Drive.

That matters on an ordinary Saturday. The changes near I-85 Exit 47 are showing up in spots you already pass, so the new places will be on the routes you already drive. Here is what is open, what opens this week and what is still behind construction fencing as of mid-October 2026.

Open now, and one big opening on Friday

The most useful new arrival is a grocery store, not a restaurant. Sprouts Farmers Market, Store #531, has its grand opening Friday, October 16. Celebrations run through Sunday, October 18. The store is at 19 Millard Farmer Industrial Blvd., Suite F, near where Millard Farmer Industrial Boulevard meets Bullsboro Drive. The City Menus reported a ribbon cutting at 6:45 a.m. and doors opening at 7 a.m. on opening day. Sprouts is moving into a suite in an existing building, not putting up its own.

Two other places in this area are already open:

  • Mellow Mushroom, 733 Bullsboro Drive. It opened July 13, 2026, with a newer setup where you order at the counter. The menu covers pizza, sandwiches, burgers, cocktails, beer and wine.
  • IKEA Plan & Order Point, 378 Ashley Park. This is a planning and ordering location, not a full warehouse store. It was reported as preparing to open in April 2026. By August, Ashley Park's own promotional material listed it among the businesses already open.

New Ashley Park names are filling old spaces and parking areas

The pattern is easiest to see on a list. Here is where each announced Ashley Park business is headed and what was there before, based on reporting through October 2026.

Business Where at Ashley Park What was there before Status as of mid-October 2026
Beignets & Brew Next to Frutta Bowls Creamistry Labeled "coming soon"
The Tox Next to Bath & Body Works, 362 Newnan Crossing Bypass Amazing Lash Studio Announced, no opening date
Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams Shoppes at Ashley Park, across from Taco Mama Center median of the parking area New building under construction as of August
Cooper's Hawk Winery & Restaurants Parking lot next to Georgian Cinemas Surface parking Announced, no opening date
MINISO Shown on the center's directory map Not reported Announced, no opening date

Dessert is the clearest example. Beignets & Brew is taking the former Creamistry space, so one sweets shop is replacing another right next to Frutta Bowls. Jeni's is building a new shop in the center median of the parking area across from Taco Mama, where a construction barrier went up this summer. Once both open, this corner will have several dessert stops within a short walk.

When Beignets & Brew was first announced, an early City Menus report mentioned a possible August opening, based on an email. That date has come and gone. As of this month, Ashley Park's dining directory still shows the shop as "COMING SOON."

The parking lot by Georgian Cinemas

Cooper's Hawk is the second business on the list headed for land that is parking today, after Jeni's. A flyer displayed at Ashley Park shows a freestanding restaurant with a modern exterior and a landscaped entrance. The flyer places it in the parking lot next to Georgian Cinemas. Cooper's Hawk combines a full-service restaurant with its own wines.

Cooper's Hawk was one of the names revealed when the center's owner, CTO Realty Growth, held a Private Preview and Brand Reveal in August. According to The City Menus' account of the event, which drew on posts from the Newnan-Coweta Chamber, guests got a first look at a refreshed brand, an updated leasing plan and plans for the property. Positano Pizza Napoletana, a restaurant already in the center, catered the evening. The Chamber's comment was simple: "An exciting new chapter is ahead for Ashley Park!"

No source so far mentions a new name for the center, a redesigned streetscape or new public spaces. The center's website still calls it Ashley Park. For now, the "new chapter" is mostly about which tenants are coming in, and the tenant list above is the best record of it.

Up Bullsboro Drive, more swaps

The same pattern continues once you leave the center. Jim 'N Nick's has plans for 1001 Bullsboro Drive, the former Hooters site. The City Menus reported in September that construction plans point to a start around mid-November. No opening date has been announced.

Put this together with Sprouts in Suite F and you can see the shape of this year near Exit 47. A barbecue restaurant is replacing a wings restaurant. A grocery store is filling a suite in an existing center. A beignet shop is replacing an ice cream shop, and an ice cream shop and a winery restaurant are going up on parking areas. These new businesses are moving into spots you already pass, not onto new land past the edge of town.

How to tell when a "coming soon" spot has opened

Fencing goes up long before doors open, so two sources are worth checking before you plan a trip.

  1. The City Menus openings list. It covers new businesses across West Georgia, Newnan included. The site says it removes a business from the list once it hears the place is open, operating or on hold. As of its October 9, 2026 update, Beignets & Brew, Cooper's Hawk, Jeni's, MINISO, The Tox, Jim 'N Nick's and Sprouts were all still listed.
  2. Ashley Park's own directory. Shops that have signed on but aren't open yet carry a "COMING SOON" label on the center's dining page.

When a name drops off the first list and loses its label on the second, it has most likely opened.

Two dates already on the Ashley Park calendar

The new tenants don't have opening dates yet, but the center's events do:

  • Fall Festival and Trick-or-Treating, Saturday, October 24, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The center lists more than 50 local vendors, face painting, a live band and trick-or-treating. Admission is free. Details are on Ashley Park's event page.
  • Lights Up, Saturday, November 21. This is the center's holiday event. Details are on its Lights Up page.

The Fall Festival is the Saturday after Sprouts' opening weekend. If you go, you can check which storefronts near Taco Mama and Frutta Bowls still have paper on the windows.
